Overview

Use OpenID Connect (OIDC) to give your team and customers secure single sign-on to HelpDocs. Point HelpDocs at your provider with a Provider URL, Client ID, and Client Secret, and let people reach private docs with the identity they already have.

• Gate private documentation behind a login
• Assign a default role to new users automatically

Setting it up

1. Register HelpDocs as a client in your OIDC provider
2. Copy your Provider URL, Client ID, and Client Secret
3. Head to Settings > Access in HelpDocs
4. Paste your OIDC credentials and save
5. Test single sign-on
