Overview

Connect your HelpDocs knowledge base to Slack and enable your team to create, search, and manage articles without leaving Slack.

Slack also doubles as an identity provider: turn on Slack single sign-on so your team signs in to HelpDocs with the Slack account they already use, landing on the default role you configure.

Setting it up

  1. Click 'Add to Slack' button
  2. Authorize HelpDocs in your workspace
  3. Configure webhook preferences
  4. Select which events trigger notifications
  5. Enable Slack SSO to let your team sign in with Slack

  • Add to Slack — Install the HelpDocs app in your Slack workspace
  • Article Published — Get notified when articles are published
  • Article Updated — Get notified when articles are updated
  • Feedback Received — Get notified when article feedback is received
