HelpDocs Greenhouse

Support that scales before your team does.

We know what it's like to be a small team juggling product, support, and growth. Greenhouse gives early-stage teams 50% off for 24 months and 3,000 bonus AI credits, so answering the same question forty times stops being a founder's job.

The offer

Join and you'll get.

We know what it's like to be a small team juggling product, support, and growth. Greenhouse exists to give early-stage teams the space to grow into their documentation rather than apologize for it.

50% off for 24 months

Half price on Sprout, Bloom, or Harvest, whichever fits. Two years is long enough to outgrow the plan you start on.

3,000 bonus AI credits

On top of your plan's allowance, to kickstart your docs. Enough to draft, rewrite, and tidy the articles you have been putting off.

Who qualifies

Startups under 3 years old with 5 or fewer employees. That's the whole bar.

Why bother this early

Docs are the cheapest headcount you'll ever add.

Early on, support is a founder answering the same question in Slack, in email, and on a call. Writing it down once is the only version of that work which keeps paying after you close the laptop.

Live today, not next quarter

No implementation call, no onboarding fee, no solutions engineer. Pick a template, point it at your domain, and ship.

AI writes the first draft

You do not have a technical writer and you are not hiring one yet. Give it a title and bullets, get a structured article back.

Answers before you're awake

Answers before you're awake

Ask AI answers from your published articles, with the sources listed, so a customer in another timezone is not waiting on a founder.

A help center that looks like you

A help center that looks like you

Styled to match your product, light and dark, and published on your own domain or a subfolder, so every article compounds into your search presence rather than a vendor's.

Ready for your first enterprise deal

Ready for your first enterprise deal

When a prospect's security review asks about SSO, permissions, and audit trails, they exist on the higher plans rather than on a roadmap.

See what's actually landing

Top articles by views tells you which part of onboarding confuses people, which is usually a product insight rather than a docs one.

AI does the grunt work

The writing you don't have time for.

Drafting, rewriting, meta descriptions, alt text, style checks. The jobs a technical writer would do, at the stage where you cannot hire one.

It grows at roughly the speed you do.

The plans are named Sprout, Bloom, and Harvest, and you move up when something outside the docs forces it, not on a schedule we set.

  1. Sprout

    Pre-launch to first customers

A handful of editors and a public help center on your domain, with AI credits to get the first articles written.

  2. Bloom

Once support is somebody's actual job

More editors and AI, plus the Lighthouse widget for in-app help, an audit trail, and 20 languages when you start selling abroad.

  3. Harvest

    When procurement starts asking questions

Unlimited languages, permission groups, and SSO, which is usually what unblocks the first enterprise contract.

FAQ

Greenhouse questions

Who is eligible for HelpDocs Greenhouse?
Startups under 3 years old with 5 or fewer employees. There is no funding-stage requirement and no revenue test, so bootstrapped teams qualify on exactly the same terms as funded ones. If you are already a HelpDocs customer and think you fit, and ask, because we would rather answer than have you assume.
What happens after the 24 months?
The 50% discount runs for 24 months, then your plan continues at standard pricing. You can change plan or cancel at any point before that, and we will not spring the change on you. Current prices are on the pricing page so you can do the maths now rather than in two years.
Which plan does the discount apply to?
Any of them. Sprout, Bloom, and Harvest are all half price for 24 months, so pick the one that fits rather than the one you can just about afford. They differ on editors, AI credits, languages, permissions, and SSO, and pricing lays out what each includes.
What are the bonus AI credits for?
Drafting, rewriting, meta descriptions, alt text, and style checks. 3,000 credits sit on top of whatever your plan already includes, which is deliberately enough to get a real help center written rather than to sample the feature. See what HelpDocs AI does.
We're an accelerator or VC. Can we offer this to our portfolio?
Yes, and we would rather set it up properly than have founders apply one at a time. and we will sort out a link for your perks page.
