Train a Jotform AI agent on your knowledge base, ten pages at a time

Crawl your knowledge base straight from the Agent Builder

Overview

Jotform’s AI agents can be trained on a URL, which means your published articles can feed an agent without any export step.

The constraint is a hard cap of ten pages per crawl. It is repeatable, so a larger knowledge base is possible, but it is tedious. The practical approach is to open your sitemap first, decide which ten articles carry the most weight, and start with those.

What you can do

  • Crawl your knowledge base straight from the Agent Builder
  • Repeatable, so you can add batches over time
  • Your sitemap makes it easy to choose which pages matter most

Setting it up

  1. Open your HelpDocs sitemap to decide which articles matter most: https://your-slug.helpdocs.io/sitemap.xml
  2. In Jotform, go to Agent Builder, then Train, then Link
  3. Enter your knowledge base URL and start the crawl
  4. Repeat for further batches, since each crawl takes up to ten pages

Requirements

  • Your knowledge base must be public, so the crawler can read it
